Tyler Sun is pursuing a biochemistry major with a minor in Public Health. He joined the Center for Aerospace Physiology research lab in Fall 2022. During his time at Chamblee High School in Atlanta, Georgia, Tyler assumed leadership roles in the Army Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps and US Naval Sea Cadet Corps, which engaged in community-focused service learning projects throughout the pandemic. His interest in research began during his high school’s two-year AP Capstone program.
