The MSMP program provided such useful education and advising resources that I felt very ready to apply to medical school. I attribute the study habits I learned in the program to my success when retaking the MCAT. With my valuable experience in the program, I was able to have options when it came to choosing a medical school, and I chose the one with a smaller atmosphere in which I would have opportunities for similar advising that I received in the MSMP program.

I graduated with my Master of Public Health degree from the George Washington University and followed this with a postbaccalaureate research fellowship at the Vaccine Research Center of the National Institutes of Health, which I completed in 2022. Eight years after graduating from the MSMP program, I am happy to say that I have begun my medical training at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine.

I feel that I have had a huge leg up during my pre-clinical years by having such an extensive background in physiology. The MSMP program provided a clinically relevant understanding of medicine and I use my knowledge base from the program on a daily basis.
